Study in Canada
Studying in Canada requires obtaining a study permit, commonly known as a ‘study visa’. In Quebec, you will also need a Quebec Acceptance Certificate.
Before starting the CAQ (Quebec) and study permit procedures, you must be accepted into a program.
Choosing the right study program and institution is crucial. They will determine whether you can work during and after your studies.
There are rare exceptions, such as taking courses lasting less than 6 months or the possibility – under certain conditions – for a child of a foreign worker or student studying at the secondary level (up to 10th grade, 15/16 years old) without a study permit.
