Use and Management of "Cookies"

The website uses cookies to make navigation more useful and reliable. Some of these cookies are essential for the operation of the website, while others improve the user experience.

Most web browsers are configured to automatically accept cookies. If the user wishes to customize their management, they must change their browser settings. More information on this can be found in the “cookie management” section of this provision.

By visiting and using the Immetis website, the user expressly agrees to the cookie management described below.

Definition of "Cookies"

A “cookie” is a data or text file that a website server temporarily or permanently stores on the user’s device (computer hard drive, tablet, smartphone, or any other similar device) through their browser. Cookies can also be installed by third parties with whom Immetis collaborates.

Cookies retain a certain amount of information, such as visitors’ language preferences or the content of their shopping cart. Other cookies collect statistics about website users or ensure that graphics display correctly and that applications work well on websites. Others allow the content and/or advertising of a website to be adapted to the user.

Use of "Cookies" on Immetis website

Immetis website uses different types of cookies:

  • Essential or technical cookies: These are indispensable for the operation of the website, allowing proper communication and facilitating navigation.
  • Statistical or analytical cookies: These cookies allow recognizing and counting the number of visitors and observing their browsing behavior when they visit the website. This helps improve user navigation and makes it easier for them to find what they are looking for.
  • Functional cookies: These cookies enable specific functionalities on the website to improve user-friendliness and experience, such as remembering their preference choices (e.g., language).
  • Performance cookies: These cookies collect information about how visitors use the website. They help evaluate and improve the content and performance of the website (e.g., by counting the number of visitors, identifying the most popular pages or clicks), and better match commercial proposals to the user’s personal preferences.
  • Advertising or commercial cookies: These files are intended to collect data related to the profile of visitors and may be installed or read by third parties with whom Immétis collaborates to measure the effectiveness of an advertisement or a web page and better adapt it to the user’s interests.
  • Tracking cookies: The website uses tracking cookies via Google Analytics to help Immétis measure how users interact with the website content, generating visit statistics in a strictly anonymous manner. These statistics continuously improve the website and offer relevant content to the user. Immétis uses Google Analytics to get an overview of website traffic, its origin, and the pages visited. This means that Google acts as a processor. The information collected by Google Analytics is generated as anonymously as possible. For example, it is not possible to identify the individuals visiting the website. For more information, users are invited to consult Google’s data protection policy, available at the following address: Google Privacy Policy.

The retention period of cookies varies depending on their type: essential cookies are generally kept until the browser is closed, while functional cookies remain valid for 1 year and performance cookies for 4 years.

Immetis authorizes public search engines to visit the website via ‘spiders’ solely to make the website’s access and content accessible through their search engines, without Immétis granting the right to archive the website. Immétis reserves the right to withdraw this authorization at any time as formulated in this article.
